Cocalo Baby Bedding

Alphabet Soup is one of these new collections. Alphabet Soup has quickly taken the market by storm, becoming one of the most sought-after crib bedding patterns available today. Alphabet Soup crib bedding is sold as a 4-piece set, consisting of a comforter, dust ruffle, 4-sided bumper, and fitted sheet.

Turtle Bay

Turtle Bay bedding features vibrant hues of blue and green which were perfectly selected and combined to communicate an aquatic scene. The comforter also features an effective use of rickrack and incorporates some higher quality woven fabrics. Turtle Bay features extensive embroidered appliqués of turtles, fish, and starfish.

Little Ducky

Little Ducky comes as a four-piece crib set with a quilt, bumper, crib skirt, and fitted sheet. The collection is made from a 65/35 poly/cotton blend. As with most crib bedding collections, a number of accessories are available, that match the Little Ducky crib set. Notably missing, however, is a hamper, which most crib bedding manufacturers have available.

Sugar Plum is sold as a six-piece set, consisting of a comforter, four-sided crib bumper, dust ruffle, fitted sheet, valance, and dust ruffle. Cocalo appears to be experimenting down the path taken by other popular brands with these six-piece sets; previous Cocalo offerings generally have been four-piece sets (excluding the diaper stacker and valance).

Cocalo baby bedding has done an excellent job of creatively combining these patterned fabrics with textured corduroy and intricate embroidered appliqués using sherpa, felt, organza, and silky ribbon, resulting in a truly beautiful collection for a baby girl. All of the embroidery appears very well done, with smooth and thick stitching and no appliquéd fabric “bleed through.”
